Happy Holidays from KIR-T!

Happy holidays! We jumpstarted this month with an LGBTQ Inclusivity Sex Education booster session on Dec. 2. Delivered by KIR-T staff members, Karli and Anna, the program was well-received by teachers.

One teacher stated, “I loved the new resources we were given. Resources are super valuable when teaching a new curriculum.”

Another teacher said, “The information makes me feel better prepared. I also enjoyed the environment where we are free to ask complicated and sensitive questions on important topics.”

Monroe High School Youth Join Our Collaborator Meeting

Youth from Monroe High School joined our Collaborator Meeting this month via video conference. They shared the importance of having sexual education courses and how they personally benefited from the IYG curriculum. We appreciated hearing back from teens about the program and look forward to more input in the months ahead.
